Horsecart Driver by Erhai Hu: One afternoon in Dali, I took a bus to see Erhai Hu (Ear-shaped Lake). From the bus, I took a horsecart on a bouncy ride toward the waterfront. As I stood admiring the lake, the driver struck up a conversation with me and, upon learning that I was a teacher, invited me to have dinner at his home. The following are slides of his family.
